You talked about, and I made fun of you, the Windex thing.

Oh, right, where you drop like the Windex pod in the bottle and you save on buying bottles and all that. Yes. We all, you also talked about the pasta straws. Yes, I did. Both of those came in the mail. Yeah, got them on Prime Day. And I've got to give you some credit card. They're both awesome. I did the Windex thing. I dropped the pot into the bottle and I shook it up. It turned blue like Windex. I was like, oh wow, that was super easy.

And it's great.

You don't have to keep buying plastic bottles. And the same thing with the pasta straws. We used them this weekend. We made some drinks at home and they did not get soft like paper straws. And they're a snack as well because you can eat them. Could you boil them? Maybe. We should try it because they're fun colors too. The Core 4, the four headlines you need to know. An official report on the Evaldi School shooting criticized both the state and federal law enforcement.

The 77 page report by the Texas House Committee explains that 376 law enforcement officials responded to the shooting, but, quote, egregiously poor decision-making resulted in more than an

hour of chaos.

The report states that law enforcement responders failed to adhere to their active shooter

training and they failed to prioritize saving innocent lives over their own safety. It's also understood

that the gunmen fired 142 rounds. 100 of them were fired before law enforcement arrived.

Other failures noted in the report,

No one assumed command,

and the commander of a Border Patrol tactical team waited for a bulletproof shield and a master key for the classroom,

which may not have even been needed.

As a result of the report,

Lieutenant Mariano Pargis, a Uvaldi police officer,

who was the city's acting police chief, has been placed on administrative leave. The Uvaldi

mayor said an investigation will be launched to determine whether the lieutenant should have taken
