Welcome, my friends.

This might be the most unique venue I've ever chosen to do a podcast from.

I'm on the top of a parking garage in North Augusta, Georgia, preaching for a dear friend here in this area,

and always looking for a venue to do my next

podcast and this is a quiet lazy area and the parking garage roof is empty so we're doing the best

we can to bring you a podcast from the fifth floor of the North Augusta parking garage roof.

That said, we're in Matthew chapter two, as you know,

and Jesus is in Bethlehem.

He's a young child, probably about one, one and a half years of age.

The wise men have now come to visit him and have presented gifts, gold and

frankincense and Mur, they've been led by the star. And now they leave. And they never go back and tell

Herod. Remember, Herod had made a deal with them. Come back and let me know where he is. I want to

worship him too. And he was lying.

He wanted to kill the Messiah. He viewed Jesus as competition to his own authority. And I wonder
