Good morning America. We want to get right to our top story. The U.S. attack on Venezuela

and the capture of the country's president, Nicholas Maduro, and his wife.

Maduro is being held in that jail right here in New York City now due to make his first appearance in court in just a few hours to face drug trafficking charges.

Operation Absolute Resolved, the dangerous military raid on Maduro's compound in the country's

capital of Caracas, which is just miles from the shore of the Caribbean.

So a big question for American travelers this morning about the popular destinations you see

like the Dominican Republic, Barbados and more.

Can you fly in and out of the Caribbean? Of course, there are big questions about what's going to happen next in Venezuela, as well, how the U.S. is going to run the country, whether that's even legal.
