January 16th, 2023. The Core 4. The four headlines you need to know. If you have a gas stove,

you can keep it. And if that sounds like a weird thing to say, let me explain. Last week, media outlets, politicians, and the oil and gas industry collectively freaked out

and took to social media to denounce the new war on gas stoves, claiming the White House

or Democrats or environmental agencies or leftists were ready to wage war on gas stoves.

It made for some great tweets, but there's one problem.

There's no ban on gas stoves coming down the pipeline anytime soon.

So you might be asking yourself, what happened?

Well, there are people in the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission who are in charge of protecting the public from common household goods and appliances.

And one of the people working in that commission told Bloomberg News that due to their health hazards, gas stoves could potentially be banned.
