Well, hey there friends, it's Jennifer and this is podcast episode number 122. It's a Monday fire. So I'm going to give you something to encourage you for the week something to ponder about and then we're going to get on with our week.

So what I talked to you today about when you're in a season of doors closing of God saying no of things just not going like you want them to.

Of things that are challenging anybody going through some challenging times that just us yesterday we found out Jason is going to have to have another surgery on his hip if you're new here my husband was in a senseless biking accident of no fault of his own while he was training for a triathlon on father's day.

So that was four and a half months ago and his hip is essentially still broken so we are going back to surgery to do something completely different.

You know, we've had just a lot of things like that lately his father passed away this summer.

So I lost my father-in-law just weeks after my husband's accident and it's kind of felt honestly like a hot stink in mass. Now listen.

There have been a lot of really great things. I'm sorry if you're watching in YouTube right now watch me put on lipstick.

My lips are jacked. There's been a lot of great things that's happened in the last season too but you know it there's been a lot of really hard things that our families had to walk through in the last year and a lot of times it's felt like God has shut doors.

That we've gone through things that we don't understand what would be the point of that you know what I mean and I know that you can look at your life or maybe right now you're in a season of just.

Of ease you're in a season of not having to be you know a lot of warfare and you're really in like a good place.

What I know about walking with Jesus long enough is that to everything there's a season that's what Ecclesiastes I also know that when we're in a season of feeling like doors are being closed or.

Feeling like things aren't going our way or you know we're walking through the fire in a lot of ways is I know that the season will end.

Because it's a season right in all seasons in right now in Kansas City the leaves are beginning to fall the summer has officially ended the fall season is coming in I so don't have any pumpkins that are mums out or anything else.

But it's a change of seasons and I know that seasons change for us.

As well as humans on a personal and a business level so I want to encourage you today.

I want to give you some of the things that I'm clinging to right now as we walk through some things that are hard personally and inevitably those will end up showing up in our business you know it in some way because.

I'll need to you know step away for a few days well Jason is you know in surgery which is fine.

I mean I was obviously I'm willing to do that but I'm just need an effect you know all facets of life so some things to keep in mind number one.
