There's a partial government shutdown.

Even though the Senate passed a spending package last week separating Homeland Security funding from a larger government spending bill.

The House is now getting back to work. Speaker Mike Johnson says he's confident that GOP- house will get a package passed soon another sticking point is the safe act which

would require proof of US citizenship and people register to vote in federal

elections GOP hardliners are demanding it get attached we all want to save

act but we also look at the reality of the numbers here and we pass the

safe act twice in the house. We'll pass it again.

We'll do that. But this is a funding package right now and I don't think we need to be playing

games with government funding. We still have winter storms. We've got FEMA and TSA and troop pay

and everything else wrapped into this. So we've got to get the job done. More details today from

Las Vegas authorities on a suspected bio lab found in a home over the weekend.

The FBI says investigators discovered a biosafety equipment, a centerfusion, unknown liquids and vials.

Authorities add the house is suspected to be tied to a similar case in California where investigators found highly infectious diseases, including malaria and COVID.

Sheriff Kevin McMayhill says investigators also found people living there.

There were three individuals inside of that home.

Each had independently rented a room from the property owner.

They were safely removed from the residents.

And at this time, they are not involved in this investigation.

New details are emerging about last week's FBI raid on an elections hub in Fulton County, Georgia.
