A Redmond man charged with murdering a teen outside of a Renton Big Five sporting goods store pleaded not guilty today.

Aaron Brown Myers fired seven bullets into 17-year-old Hazrat Ali Rohani, killing him while pinning down one of Rohani's friends.

Myers, as attorney, said, he saw one of the teens carrying a gun

and thought he had to act because he thought they were about to rob the store. Myers later shot Rohani because he feared for his life. The gun in question turned out to be an airsoft pistol. Court documents say the teens went to the store to return the airsoft pistol because it was defective. Prosecutor St. Myers had no authority to intervene, and the teens didn't pose a threat.

media not show Myers' face, which was approved. He's still being held on a $2 million bill.
