Kamala Harris's campaign is picking up momentum.

Let's get you caught up with today's seven stories.

Number one, Donald Trump suggested he might skip a debate with Vice President Kamala Harris.

The debate is set for September 10th on ABC.

It's the only one that both campaigns have agreed to do with one of the major networks.

But yesterday, Trump posted on social media criticizing ABC.

He asked, why would I do the debate against Kamala Harris on that network.

His post comes as Harris has increased her lead in national polls,

and she's gained ground in some swing states.

Her campaign says she's raised 540 million million since President Biden dropped out of the race in July.

Meanwhile, Trump's advisors have been trying to re-energize the Republican nominee

as he struggled to adapt to Harris being the Democratic candidate.

But he got one boost on Friday.

That's when independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.

dropped out of the race and endorsed him.

Number two, Israel and Hezbollah escalated their attacks over the weekend.

Tensions in the Middle East reached new heights yesterday. Israel and Hezbollah launched their heaviest strikes in months over Israel's northern border with Lebanon.

Hezbollah is a militant group and political party in Lebanon that's backed by Iran.
