Americans are souring on Elon Musk.

There was some on-air drama on 60 Minutes.

And the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame has 13 new inductees.

It's Monday, April 28th. Let's get you caught up with

today's seven stories.

Number one, Americans are increasingly critical of Elon Musk's role in the Trump administration.

This morning, the Post published a poll with ABC News and Ipsos.

It found just 35% of Americans approve of the way Musk is handling his job in the Trump administration.

57% disapprove. His support is sliding among almost all demographic groups, including by double digits among adults under 30.

Musk's Doge Service has claimed to cut wasteful government spending. He recently said the group

identified $150 billion in savings for the 26 fiscal year, far lower than targets he'd previously

announced.

Many Americans seem skeptical of this effort.

While 43% say federal government waste has decreased under President Donald Trump,

a majority in the poll say waste has stayed the same or increased.

Musk's role in the White House moving forward is unclear. He's clashed with other

Trump advisors and profits at his car company, Tesla, have plunged. Last week, he said he plans

to step back from Doge next month. Trump officials are defending the removal of U.S. citizen children to Honduras.

That's number two.

Early Friday, three U.S. citizen children from two families were removed from the United States with their mothers by immigration authorities.
