Monday, April 18th, 2022. We've also got two second tunes in a couple minutes, so we are going

to test your music knowledge and your quickness. The Core 4. The four headlines you need to know.

104 people from one New Jersey High School were diagnosed with brain tumors, which then

triggered concerns that there may be an environmental issue in the area.

Two environmentalists are using a GPS to test for radiation on the grounds of Colonia High School. Most of the people who suffer

from the tumors graduated between 1989 and 1995. Not all of the tumors are cancerous, but

some people who were diagnosed have since died. The link was only spotted when one former student

who is an environmental scientist noticed a lot of people from his former high school were getting sick.

The thought is that the tumors could be traced back to a nearby sampling plant that dealt with uranium for the first atomic bomb.

The environmental testing at the high school is expected to last one month

and the school will remain open during the process. If you're like me and the entire ski season

passed you by without a single day on the mountain, I've got some good news for you this Monday morning.

As we all turn our attention to the spring and summer, you may not have noticed

that a huge snow storm dumped a few feet of snow in the Sierra Nevada Range. The snow came down

for seven days and accumulated for over three feet in some areas. That means two very good things.

The first is for skiers and riders out there. You can still get some days on the snow if you book a trip quick.
