Well, if you thought the news would slow down after Super Bowl 55 back in February, you'd be, well, very wrong.

Whether it's the intrigue that occurred in the 2021 NFL

draft through the Aaron Rogers saga in Green Bay, the action of the field has certainly been

very compelling. So that brings us to the latest on Atlanta star wide receiver Julio Jones.

as June 2nd approaches. That's when Atlanta could save more than $15 million against the salary

cap by releasing or trading with the 32-year-old star.

Matt Ryan has been Julio's teammate since the 2011 season, saying he appreciates what Jones brings to the team.

He's been such great player. He's a hell of a teammate. I love him. And, you know, we'll see how things shake out. But he's probably impacted my career more significantly than any other player.

And, you know, I've been really fortunate to be around it for us on a half.

There was plenty of speculation earlier this year discussing whether Seahawks' dark quarterback Russell Wilson wanted out of Seattle.

That even included a potential trade to a destination like Chicago before talks ultimately ended before the start of the

2021 draft. During an appearance on Friday's Rich Eisen Show, Hock said coach Pete Carroll saying all the rumors of Will Wilson stay or go was blown out of proportion.

Yeah, well it seems like really old news to talk about this because it's been such a long time.

Which, the little bit that he said carried so much airtime that it became bigger than life.
