1:34.8	Early this morning, the ingenuity helicopter successfully took flight on Mars, making it the first
1:41.8	aircraft to make a powered flight on another planet.
1:45.9	The test flight consisted of the craft flying 10 feet off the surface of Mars's
1:49.9	Jesro crater for 39 seconds, which may not sound like very much, but the Wright brothers' first
1:56.1	batch of powered flights in December of 1903 were all about the same altitude and lasted for less than a minute.
2:03.0	So all things considered for a first historic test flight, it's pretty solid.
2:08.6	And as a nod to those pioneers, NASA has named ingenuity's flight zone, the Wright Brothers Field.
