it is designed to allow us to be able to do the work of Black Talklandia without losing our

minds, not literally losing our minds, but frankly, it's really hard to sit and talk about difficult news

and difficult stories. And it's difficult for me to talk about those things every single day.

So I know it's hard for you all to hear about those things every single day. And that's one of the

reasons why from the beginning of this show, we created a segment called a moment of gratitude

that would allow us before we do any of the hard news, before we do

any of the analysis and dive deep into the who what warehouse and the wise of the stories that

we're going to get into, we spend some time focusing on something that's going to allow us to

tap into a sense of joy, gratitude, and appreciation. And of course, this is important.

It matters greatly because when you are rooted in joy, gratitude, and appreciation,

you cannot also be trapped by fear, loneliness, and depression.

And when you are trying to do the work of making Black Talk Landia powerful and beautiful

and amazing, you want to make sure that you're tapping into your power and your recognition

that as difficult as the world may be in this time, it's also an opportunity for the greatest

of our strengths to rise up. It's an opportunity for us to really approach these challenges with an

eye towards remembering. We have the capacity to solve these problems. But you can't do that if you don't

tap into your strength. So the ritual is called, as I mentioned, a moment of gratitude. And it is super
