I think it's natural to question ourselves as parents because it's not

something you can study for. We're literally just winging it and our kids have no agenda.

Mom guilt is the feeling of worry, shame, or regret when you feel you have done something wrong

These feelings naturally make you feel down and sometimes they can get so big that it's hard to cope and you get stuck in this run of negativity.

As moms we feel responsible for our children's future so we set very high, unrealistic expectations for ourselves to serve them perfectly every day.

The truth is, guilt can serve a great purpose in life. It helps you revalue your behavior so you can do better next time.

However, mom guilt is typically driven by irrational beliefs, which doesn't drive you to do better, but really

it only makes you hard on yourself.
