Summary

This week's Mom Boss is Jessica Saultz, founder of Dino Bars, a brand of the Functional Food Company, a small family-owned business owned and managed by Jessica and her husband, Ian. They believe in the positive effects of eating healthy, and want to provide like-minded parents with a healthy snack for their kids. Jessica realized there were limited healthy snack options for kids, after she moved to the U.S. from Germany, where healthy options are more prevalent. So she decided to make Dino Bars.

Jessica tells Hilaria and Daphne how She started making bars at home and testing out recipes on her and her friends’ kids. When they saw that they were so popular among their friends, Jessica and her husband put everything into turning Dino Bars into a business. They are a delicious healthy snack and even the wrapper is edible!
