There's a sure way to tell if your marriage is going to work based on the wedding finances alone.

This comes from Instagram at divorce lawyer Denise.

The biggest indicators of getting a divorce is how much money you spent on the wedding.

Couples have spent more than $20,000 on their wedding or 46% more likely to get a divorce.

Couples who spent less than a thousand dollars on their wedding were 53% less likely to get

a divorce. To all the boosy brides out there this is a lesson the amount of money that you spend on your wedding might be detrimental to your marriage

What do you think the science or the theory behind that is?

My theory is that if you're going to spend a ton a ton of money then you're in it for the

optics in the show and the relationship may not be as foundational secure and then

if you don't have as much money like I don't think it think it's correlation equals causation like if you

spend that much you're gonna get divorced. I think it's about the type of

person who's getting married and if you're like yeah babe let's get married

for under a thousand it's really just about us who cares about everything else,

then maybe you're more likely to stay together.
