Huh, first y'all.

All right, more kind of a bittersweet weekend for you, huh?

Yeah, it was.

Um, I was celebrating the life of my aunt, Shirley, who, well, she's a, I don't, it's fun.

It's kind of weird, honestly, to even talk about her because like her personality, she

wouldn't want me to be sad at all.

Like, that was just never who she was since I was young.

And I've always really, really honored my aunt, Shirley, because if I'm being truthful,

inside of my family, I don't know a lot of my family.

I don't know like I didn't really have a relationship with my grandfather, um, a lot

of his brothers and sisters.

I just, I just didn't know him.

You want to, um, kind of recap that just for a second here for those that don't know

what that family history is?

Sure.

So, uh, my, my biological father and my mom split when I was really young and then my dad

came into the picture.

So I grew up in a home with my mom and my stepdad, who I really don't look at as a stepdad

and we just been a family.

My biological father and I have had a rocky times, but today we have a really good relationship.

And so it's been, it's been great.

The problem is because I grew up in a split household, I didn't get as close to that
