Mom made a BFF while on vacation in Mali.

Who would have thought it?

I did man this guy is his name is Guzpatra and he they call him Gus for short

but I was blown away by his story to the point where

we have kept in touch since I left and I plan on keeping in touch with him for a very

long time so right before I was leaving it was I think I had like two days left on my trip and I'm by the pool,

taking in the sights, you know, doing the normal things that you do when you're on vacation.

And one of the servers there, like I've mentioned before, when you go to Bali, I think one of the things that stood out for me the most was the service, the way that the people treat you, the way they embrace and welcome you into their culture.

It's not like anything I've ever witnessed and so you you quickly start to just

make a lot of friends I mean once they meet you they remember you and it's it's always all

good but this one particular instance he walks over and he kind of gives me my food and our drinks and

everything that we ordered and then he kind of just stood there for a second and

it was like awkward because it was like okay wait was he was he waiting for

like what do we do now right because we

we had tipped him but he was just standing there and it hit me like I just think he

wanted to like talk to somebody I just think he seemed like he had something he wanted to

get off his chest and so I was like everything good bro and he was like yeah man you know how are you guys and where are you visiting from and then it started off with like typical conversation

he had...

because you are a little introvert being an extrovert, like reading the room and helping a guy out who needed a

combo.

I had a few drinks, I was on vacation.
