Hey, how are you, Darryl? Nice to see you.

So, are you in Brooklyn?

I'm in Brooklyn, New York, yes.

Born and raised.

Yeah, so how was being, you know, so many actually great musicians that have come out of Brooklyn?

Must be something in the water or in the pizza? I don't know, what's the...

Yeah, I don't know, you know, it's a funny thing.

I mean, Brooklyn was always like, Brooklyn was cool, then for a while Brooklyn kind of got like a bedwrap

and then Brooklyn became cool again.

Now it's actually more expensive to live here in Brooklyn than in Manhattan and so on.

I know, that's funny, how that goes.

Yeah, so I'm happy that I lived in the city at one time, but I got that out of my system,

so I'm happy, I'm happy, you know, where I am.

So, tell me about your beginnings.

I know, I think you had a father, that was a musician, right?
