Today's talk comes from Pastor Ben Stewart.

Well, one year when I was in college, my buddies and I spent spring break in San Miguel

De Allende, a little town about an hour north of Mexico City.

And we got on a bus in Nuevo Laredo, rode through the night, and watched the sun rise in this little artist colony town.

And I remember one of the evenings we were there,

we got onto the roof of La Perugia,

this massive, like, neo-Gothic cathedral

that dominated the skyline of this town.

And we're sitting on the top of this gorgeous church,

looking over this colorful city as the sun is setting,

and then from beneath us in these cavernous hallways,

we start to hear a men's choir sing hymns to God in Latin.

And I remember in that moment,

the beauty of the architecture, the beauty of the sunset,

the beauty of the city, the beauty of the singing,

suddenly I experienced this moment

where there was so much beauty beauty it made my heart ache.

And I remember for the first time I could remember as a young man thinking, I want to share

this with someone. And I looked over at my buddy Ricardo, who was sitting there next to me,

and Ricky was a good dude, but I was like, that's not what I meant.
