I'm excited to continue on in our collection called Linked on Relationships. And today we're

going to be talking about a relationship that all of us need, and that is friendships. So let me

pray for us, and then we'll jump into the message today. Lord, thank you for your word.

Thank you for meeting us in the pages of your word.

Thank you for the opportunity we have today to gather in your name,

to worship in your name,

to remind ourselves of who you are and what you've done for us.

I pray for everybody in these gatherings today, Lord.

I pray that you would drown out the distractions that we might hear clearly from you.

Nobody needs another day at church, but every person needs an encounter with you today.

So would you come and speak and lead in whatever way you see fit so that we all could look more like you when we leave here today?

you've ever had this experience before, but I had a friend call me almost two months ago now,

and I answered the phone and I said hello and then they just started talking. Do you have a friend

like that? They don't really care if you talk. They just call you because they want to talk. Well, he called me. I pick up the phone and said,

hello, and then he just goes off. And he's telling me, hey, we got this girl. Her name's Emily.

She just applied for this job here with me, and I think she's going to be a great fit. And I'm

really excited about it. We needed this role for a long time and I'm really excited that she put her name and how I think she's going to be a great fit and we've done all the interviews and we think she's really

great there's a few concerns we're worried about this you might have weakness in this area but we
