Welcome back, Prime Members, to part two of the mock trade deadline. We got a lot of stuff to get to here.

There are going to be 11 trades coming up, but I wanted to remind you of what took place in part one.

We went through a lot of the big names that have been bandied about the most in the reporting, and we didn't really find homes for any of them as it

turned out.

Janice just wasn't willing to commit to making a trade request.

It seemed like there wasn't anyone who's going to overwhelm the bucks at this point in time.

Memphis was thinking about trying to get a under the radar big package for Jared and Jackson

Jr.

Nobody was interested at the

level that memphis wanted larry marketing not really truly available at this point in time

teams weren't that interested in trading for an injured anthony davis either we all almost got there

with a job morant trade but i chickened out finally getting further down the ledger, the Toronto Raptors went far enough that

Trow Wumars decided they had to deal Trey Murphy the third.

That was actually our first agreed to deal.

It was Trey Murphy the 3rd and Jordan Hawkins from the Pelicans to the Toronto Raptors

for RJ Barrett, Jacoby Walter, two unprotected Toronto first in 2026 and 2030. Then the Brooklyn Nets made their move with Michael Porter Jr. Had a couple of suitors involved, but the Pistons ended up getting him. They traded Michael Porter Jr. who acquired Michael Porter Jr.

from Brooklyn for Duncan Robinson, Jaden Ivy, and Ron Holland the second.

Interesting move there to be sure.

And then our first one that really nobody saw coming, the Celtics used Anthony Simon's salary to significantly reduce their tax bill number one,

but more importantly pick up the cost-controlled contract of Anyeka Akangu via their 2026

unprotected first and their 2031 unprotected first.

They also got Luke Kennard and a 2029 Cleveland second, the idea being maybe to move on from
