All right, Sunday night edition of the pod, we got some trade action to announce here.

Ladies and gentlemen, I'd like to report a trade.

The larger of the two deals is a three-team transaction where DeAndre Hunter is going from the

Cleveland Cavaliers to the Sacramento Kings. Dennis Schrooter and Keon Ellis are going from

the Sacramento Kings to the Cleveland Cavaliers. And then Dario Sharich is going from the

Sacramento Kings to the Chicago Bulls. Let's start from Cleveland's standpoint here.

I think with the emergence of Jalen Tyson and with the struggles of DeAndre Hunter,

he became expendable.

There's a thought that he was going to be so good this year.

He was one of the guys that was going to emerge and just never really got going

with max truce out there was a hole for him to get into the starting lineup and just was not able

really to produce not able to defend at the level of a number one stopper and really just kind

of went back to being the guy he was in his worst moments in Atlanta.

They didn't really have much need for his mid-range scoring, and that wasn't particularly

effective anyway. And given his salary and the fact that he also had a big salary for next year,

the Cavs felt like they could move on from him. And they've done so here without having to give up too much.

It really, they only gave up one piddling second from Denver in the deal.

They get cheaper and might get two guys who are going to help them more than DeAndre

Hunter.

We can get into that a little bit more, but that's kind of my surface level analysis of this deal.

It's a shame because the Cavs could really use the best version of DeAndre Hunter,
