A story that we've been following, of course, is the hit and run killing of the beloved community activists.

She was killed on Christmas Eve in that hit and run.

And it was about at 88th Street around 3.30 p.m. Christmas Eve.

And there's not any real information at this point as far as the why.

But hopefully KFI's on Blake Troly,

I'm doing well. And yeah, Mo, you know what? Unfortunately, there is still just not a whole lot of

new information on this investigation. And part of the reason is just that you know the lack of video footage

right now police are really only describing the car that they're looking for as a blue mid-sized

sedan with damage to the front passenger side but as you say this was an absolutely horrific story

They say she was an absolute saint.

She was an activist, former minister, again, all very well known to the community.

She was a grandmother.

She was raising foster kids.

She was raising her own grandkids, a real selfless kind of person.

And on Christmas Eve, the day she was hit, she was demonstrating that selflessness.

She was dropping off toys to a shelter.

And the details of her being hit as they come out.

Those details are becoming horrific.

Police say Newman, she had loaded her kids into her car.

She was walking to the driver's door. So her kids, four kids that she was raising were inside the car when she was hit.
