I want to refer back to something I was saying last hour.

This is a really cool place to be.

Los Angeles.

Great weather.

It is a great place to be.

Now, I say that as someone who was born here, raised here, worked 99% of my professional life here, I do love, as they say, L.A.

Now, I'm not saying that blind to the issues of L.A.

And how it's changed or progressed in the past 15, 20 years.

I'm not saying that.

I'm saying that of all the places that I could have ended up

personally or professionally, there's no other place I'd rather be than Los Angeles. Now, I did go

away to college in Washington, D.C. for four years, and I did have the opportunity to stay out on

the East Coast, maybe go to New York or Atlanta

because of some professional opportunities. But I decided to come back to L.A. because I wanted

to chase this entertainment thing. But beyond that, home will always be the best place to be.

And L.A. is home for me.

And I will criticize it.

I will chastise other Angelinos in it.

But I still love LA among just about any other city in the world.

Now, I would live in Barcelona.

If I left LA or even the United States, I would live in Barcelona or Rome. Those are two of my favorite cities in the world. But it's still, you know, home is really difficult to beat. And so I haven't had the reason, professional or otherwise, to live outside of L.A. I've lived in like Studio City. I lived in West

L.A., lived in like the Englewood area, but that's still L.A. by and large. And the reason I talk
