And let's see what's going on with the Southwest Airlines cancellations, delays.

Happy holidays.

It's good to have you in studio on this day. But what the heck is going on around the country with these cancellations?

Yeah. Well, it sounds like a lot of people's holiday breaks are being extended, probably a little bit past when they want them to nationwide. We'll just go, we'll start there with the national numbers. The airline has canceled more than 2,500 flights today.

And, of course, this is hitting airlines here.

This is hitting airports including Orange County, John Wayne, Long Beach, LAX, and Burbank.

If you go on Southwest website and you try to get a flight out of one of these airportsely, you will see that these are unavailable through

Saturday. In fact, the only ones I was able to find, and they're probably already sold at this

point, where from like, I think it was LAX to Dallas on a Saturday, I was trying different

combinations and was able to find that. So good luck there if you're trying to actually book a flight

out of Southwest in the next several days.

Anyways, I went to Hollywood Burbank this morning, and as soon as I pulled up to the airport,

I actually saw a Southwest flight take off, so I made a wish.

Inside the airport, I think a lot of people at this point, I was expecting to see some of these

massive crowds, but I do think today

a lot of people had kind of gotten word. They were checking ahead as they've been warned to. So a lot of

people at the airport were on flights that were actually taking off on time. I checked the marquee.

It was a real mix today between canceled and on time at Burbank. You know, same thing with other
