1:11.5	I got a call from one of my best sources in the case who had been heavily hinting at Elyke Murdoch's involvement in Maggie and Paul's murders from week
1:16.4	one. He said he had good news that there was physical evidence that placed Elyke Murdoch
1:22.3	at the scene of the double homicide. Before we got this news, we really only had evidence pointing toward
1:29.1	Elyke Murdoch's involvement in the murders, not actually putting him there at the scene
1:34.3	of the crime. At that time, I couldn't say what the evidence was. We had to be careful and
1:39.4	protect the integrity of the reporting. We knew that Elek was a person of interest. We knew that he sounded
1:45.6	suspicious on that 911 call reporting the double homicide. We knew that he was yucking it up
1:51.8	all around South Carolina without his wedding ring on weeks after the murders. And at this point
1:58.6	in the story, SLED was under enormous pressure to make an arrest, but
2:02.8	law enforcement and prosecutors were proceeding with caution.
