Summary

Mark goes solo to answer your listener-submitted questions about why time "slows down" during backpack hunts, if he would trade his Swarovski ATS spotter for something smaller, advice for flying with meat and antlers, what headlamp he would recommend, if a lighter puffy jacket is worth it, and how he dealt with the emotions of losing an elk... It is, you know, early October as we're releasing this, many of you guys are also out hunting,

0:29.9

which is fantastic. Just want to remind you guys that we do have the Exo experience photo story contest going on you can get all the

0:41.2

details at exo mountaintgear.com forward slash experience or there'll be a link in the show description for

0:48.0

that but just a reminder on this it's not a a trophy photo contest it's not a kill the biggest buck or bull. You don't have to be a

professional photographer. The intention behind this contest is to kind of capture the whole hunt and tell a

different categories and things like that but again all those details will be at that link

1:44.7

and what a stark contrast that was from day-to-day life.

1:51.0

And this is certainly something I've thought about, of course, experienced, but also thought

1:56.1

intentionally about it.

1:58.1

Just in terms of the fact that yes, when you are hunting, in particular, when you're

2:03.7

doing a multi-day backpack hunt, time is totally different than our day-to-day lives.
