Welcome to the Monday minute of the Hunt Backcountry Podcast. This is episode number 237.

And while we normally answer listener questions on the Monday minute episodes,

today's a little bit different as I'm joined by Jake and Steve

to do kind of a last minute debrief and chat for the Alaska Mountain Goat Hunt.

It was originally supposed to be myself and Steve on this hunt. It ended up being

myself and Jake on this hunt. Then you'll hear why. And then we also just discuss last minute

planning, logistics, mindset, training, etc.

So this is going to be a whole new experience for Jake and he found out on a pretty short notice

that he was doing this hunt.

And so I thought it'd be helpful to chat with him a bit

and hit record and just let you guys kind of hear

that conversation and what things are like

going into this hunt.

As this episode's released will actually be on the first day

of the hunt in the field, at least,

weather dependent.
