As part of the Experience Project a few months ago, we did an in-depth discussion on

boots and more specifically footwear because not

everything we use is a boot and what we look for in hunting footwear. The guys

from Lathrop and Sons are experts in footwear from a different perspective, not just as a user like Stephen myself, but because they understand some of the scientific and medical aspects of the anatomy of a foot and how footwear can interact with a foot.

We've had them on the podcast years ago. I think it was nine years ago to talk about footwear and so we thought it would be fun to get them back on the show

both to hear what has changed with them in the last nine years

but also to talk and show a different perspective from the footwear conversation that

Steve and I had as part of the Experience Project.

So this is an in-depth wide-ranging conversation on footwear. We talk really about every aspect of footwear for hunting,

breakdown footwear, how it's built and constructed, how the guys from Lathrop built their custom footwear, what they choose for different elements in terms of materials, construction techniques, and more.
