I was getting the slander before we started recording in the pre-show. I want to use the term meeting, but let's be honest. It's just like a vibe session. I feel like you might actually have like a soft spot in your heart for the Nets. Oh, no, I despise the Nets. There we go. Okay. Number one Nets fan, Nix Nets. That's too confusing for me. Because growing up, there was always two teams except the Nix. everyone was a Knicks fan and then when the Nets got good with Jason Kidd when I was younger

everyone like all the front runners went there, which was still fine. But when they decided to move into New York, it was a disgusting thing. And they have been a complete and utter failure since then. Wait, are you trying to paint like the Knicks as the sleeper team in that area? I believe so, yes. No, no, no. The Knicks were the only unifier. Like the Knicks were the only team where everyone was a fan. So like growing up, it was like your friends were Yankee fans and Mets fans, Jets and Giants fan, all three hockey teams. So there was nothing that everyone had in common. And the Knicks are good. The whole city is behind them.

Everyone's into it.

Obviously, the 90s, it was big.

And then the Nets were like, yeah, we're going to try and just splinter that and break in with like the one little thing that we can do. And it's like, okay, cool. Well, here's what you're going to do. you're going to get a bunch of star players and always run them into the ground.

So call me.

I live 10 minutes from that stadium.

And I don't go there except for the Liberty.

I have like basically Liberty season tickets go libs. But that's different. Could MLS if they had had a team like in New York from the jump, not the New York, New York, New Jersey Metro Stars? If they had just had the one and really pump some some money into them. Could they have been a thing?

Or do you feel like gossip requires having two teams?

Do you have to have the rivalry to have interest in New York?
