Speaking of starting off on solid footing, Joe, let's talk San Diego FC for a moment.

That does feel like an appropriate segue based on what I've read.

They do not have certain personnel in place, which would normally be more of a concern. Maybe it is for you. No sporting director yet, no head coach. They do have the youth technical director of the academy program. They've brought in a few players so far. How are you feeling about their build at this point so far? I'm feeling really good about their build. So I spent a lot of time over the last couple of days digging into San Diego and we should peel back the curtain for a second. The reason why we're

doing this is simply because Tom Boggart reported yesterday that Chuky Lozano is, it sounds like,

It doesn't count as pulling back the curtain if it's the most public thing about. No, I pull it back, gosh. That's normally like the curtain. The curtain's been pulled. It's been pulled back. Here's the secret. The only story about this team is why we're talking. To be fair, I will, I will moderate this one and say, Joe is really just doing the work that I should have done in introducing this by saying, we're talking about San Diego because they may sign Chuck Lee Lazzano, that's the rumor, that's the report. Anyway, it sounds like they're going to sign Chucky Lozano, which is, I think, very exciting.

We'll talk more about that later, but that sort of prompted all of us to think, oh, what's up with San Diego these days? We know they've got the main hole cover crest. Like, we remember that. We remember their name being completely uninspiring. What else is going on with them? So I'll run through a few of the things of the top line things that are happening right now with San Diego.

They're going to debut next year.

They're going to be at Snapdragon Stadium, which is where, uh, which is San Diego State University Stadium. It's where the wave play in the NWSL. The really interesting thing outside of the first team roster with San Diego is their connections to the right to dream academy. Now what, what right to dream academy well it's this big cross-border academy it's got a residential academy model so you're living there you're going to school you're playing soccer for the for the clubs academy to either go and play pro or to play college soccer in the u.s or they're going to pay for these players in san diego to just straight up go to college even if they don't want to play soccer, if they're not good enough. This is a pretty cool model that we don't really see a lot in the United States. RSL is the only other residential academy. Shouted to Travis Clark for hooking me up with that piece of info.
