It's Girls Camp

Hello everyone and welcome to Girls Camp. I'm your host, Haley Rawl. I hope you're having a

happy Wednesday. I always imagine you're listening on Wednesday morning in your car on your commute because that's

when I usually listen to my podcasts but happy day whether it's a Wednesday or any

other day of the week or any other time or any other setting. I love to think about all the

different ways people listen to this podcast and imagine you know maybe you're doing the dishes, maybe you're just going on a walk.

I just think podcasts are so special because it really feels like an intimate chat with thousands of people at once which is really special. Anyway, quite

a tangent there but I am very excited as always as per usual about today's conversation. It is with a good

friend of mine, Zach Hayward. Zach married my longtime best friend Jacqueline

Covey and I interviewed Jacqueline I talk about this a bit in our conversation

But I interviewed Jacqueline back long ago at the beginning of the podcast about mixed faith marriage dynamics and that is kind of the focus of

Zach and I's conversation today. So we talk about what it was like to be on the believing side of a mixed faith

marriage dynamic and then what it was like when he left because he since left

the church. I think it's a hugely important conversation with really good

insight for anyone in any type of mixed faith dynamic which is probably all of us if

not almost every single one of us, post- Mormons at least, or even people

who've left another high-demand religion, just engaging in the community of the world is usually mixed faith. We're oftentimes all the time

having to deal with people who believe differently than us. So I find this

episode very applicable. I will give you a little tidbit that may keep you

on the edge of your seat which is that Zach cries in this episode which he has
