we did our little interview on the Oprah show, you seemed to be impressed that I had read

the book. And I never forgot, because I said, well, of course I read the book, because

I read all the books. And you said, you'd be surprised.

Well, in your case, I was surprised you found the book, because you were the first one to

find it. Tuesdays with Mori was not supposed to be some kind of big book. It was a tiny

little book that got turned down my most publishers I went to. And so my surprise was that you

would even hurt it at the time. It was really smart.

I don't even know how it came to be, because people would recommend things to me or I would

hear about something. But anyway, it showed up. I read it. You were on the show. And then

the book took off. Yeah. Once people embraced it, they seemed to find something in it that

I have to be honest with you. I never anticipated. I was planning on going back to the locker

rooms and be a sports writer and everything changed.
