Summary

Looking into the haunting history of Missouri, you’ll find a lot of very interesting stories. There are the ghosts of Jesse James and his brother Frank, who seems to haunt more than one location. There’s the haunted Lemp Mansion in St. Louis, a haunted civil war battlefield by Springfield and we even talk about Shadow People, UFOs and Jim the Wonder Dog. Jason Offutt has written several books on hauntings in and around Missouri and has uncovered some fascinating stories.

About our guest: Jason Offutt grew up in a haunted farmhouse in rural Missouri. His latest fiction is the award-winning The Girl in the Corn, Jason’s first horror/dark fantasy novel. He is best known for science fiction, such as his time and dimension hopping novel So You Had to Build a Time Machine, Bad Day for the Apocalypse, and How to Kill Monsters Using Common Household Objects. Jason teaches university journalism and cooks for his family.
