I am your good friend and host, Steve Robertson, here on the Hump Day edition of the yard.

It is not raining today in Starkville.

It is supposed to rain a little bit this morning, but it is raining in our hearts.

As we suffer one of the worst losses in program history last night on the baseball diamond,

as the Bulldogs lose to previous winless Texas Southern by a score of eight to four.

We're going to talk about that today about what went wrong and how there might be a symptom of a bigger problem with this Bulldog lineup.

We're going to go over that.

We're going to talk wins basketball. We're going to preview the women's game. It's coming up on Thursday night, the last home game of the year and the regular season for the ladies as they host Arkansas and what amounts the senior day. And we're going to take a look ahead at what is to come for men's basketball. Three games remaining in the regular schedule. None of them gimmies by any stretch of imagination, but the Bulldogs have to take it a game at a time,

as they did last night, needing to get one. They absolutely had to have, and they get it.

So we're going to break that down. We're going to look ahead. It's a busy time of year,

and every game is big throughout the year, but they all take on

and added importance and intensity this time of the year. So let's go ahead and get started with all
