Welcome to the Bone Yard with Steve Robertson.

As always, I am your good friend and host Steve Robertson here on the Hump Day edition of the yard.

We'll be an educational show, I believe, is really kind of getting caught up on some things that happened here in the last few days.

We kind of looking ahead.

We won't spend a lot of time talking baseball today.

We're going to go ahead and table the preview of Stanford until Friday's show,

since we're going to play a Saturday, Sunday, Monday Super Regional. Now, weather is an issue right now,

and it's not the traditional, you know, Mississippi summer pop-up type storms out there, not that I'm some amateur meteorologist,

but there is a tropical system that is kind of going to push some of this moisture in our

direction. So that will be something that I think might hurt our attendance this weekend,

but also, too, it might affect the quality of plague.

And so that is something to kind of keep an eye on.

We would love for that tropical system to jog a little bit more eastern, not that we're, you know,

wishing harm on our neighbors.

But the bottom line is we want to be able to get our baseball games in.

You know, we don't want any loss of life or property or anything like that.

Just a lot of rain, wind, maybe a little rain.

But by and large, that is something that we're monitoring as our Mississippi State and NCAA officials.

As we kind of get into the weekend. There will be a media availability today.

I will not be able to attend that because I've got I've got kid stuff to do.

You know how it is in the summertime.

There's always somewhere to be, somewhere to go.
