Welcome to the Boneyard with Steve Robertson. As always, I am your good friend and host, Steve Robertson here on the Maroon Variety Edition of the Art. It is the day to celebrate. I hope you're wearing Maroon today. It's Friday night football night. We're going to get into some of that tonight. It's big news for the state of Mississippi. It's around the country. We've got high school footballs flying all over the country. It's a great thing. We're going to get into some of that today. We'll talk a little bit about Southern Miss, about the ballgame last night, and how cool it was to kind of see everybody unite behind, really, the Golden Eagles, but really just pretty much the game of college football. But it's a day that many people suggested it was never

coming. But it came and it went and the ground did not open up and swallow those in attendance

at him in Robert Stadium. Got some things say about that too. I want to thank our good friends

of this show, man, just outstanding food. That's the thing that I have learned is I have gotten

older. It's like if I am going to make the commitment financially and of my time to go out

for a meal, which is wonderful, it's nice to be able to get out and have somebody else wait on you.

Not because I've got some sense of entitlement,

And this quarantine has probably taught me that.

Listen, Suther Miss did not look like a good team, and I don't know that we really minded. I mean, listen, there are some guys out there that we recruited, some guys that we elected not to offer, some guys that maybe we did offer and we didn't push to commit.

But nevertheless, there was a ballgame played in the state of Mississippi, South Alabama, coached by former Delta State and Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College head coach Steve Campbell.
