Welcome to the Barnyard with Steve Roberts and as always I am your good friend and host Steve Roberts and I got up this morning and said you know what I want to record the show right after lunch and then all you know what broke loose is Mississippi State made a huge run on some portal commitments. We'll break all that down in our first segment of the show and And I got a cool top 10 list for you too.

Kind of working behind the scenes here. We'll kind of profile a music producer that has been

involved with some of your favorite songs, but I worked in some other stuff you may not be quite as

familiar with. We'll talk a little basketball,

and we'll close out the show with some baseball.

How about that?

Man, we love talking baseball on this show.

And I know you guys are so incredibly excited,

because let's be honest,

it was a bad weekend of basketball.

On both sides, it was.

But I kind of kicked the Hornets nest this weekend too because you know maybe I take things too seriously and or maybe you don't take them seriously enough

right I guess we could meet somewhere in the middle but I do not like people speaking negatively about Mississippi State.

I don't even like it when our people do it, but you know what?

You kind of expect some of that, right?

Because you're emotionally invested, right?

You've kind of earned the right to be critical.

You know, when you've given the NIL, you bought the the cowbell you buy season tickets i mean you're

invested right and so you expect some of that and of course we have a self-loading segment of

our fan base and everybody does but it does seem like we've got a little more than we need but um

i don't like it when somebody outside the family starts taking our inventory.

I don't like it. I'm not going to mention anybody's names or anything like that, but I'm going to tell you.
