0:11.0	Today I'm so excited for a special episode I have where I was able to invite my new friend Richmond onto the show to talk about all things Africa.

0:23.2	that I'm really passionate about. And Richmond is actually from Uganda, which is a specific
0:28.1	region of the world that I am passionate about. And so Richmond is the founder of the pastor's
0:33.6	discipleship network, which specifically exists for training and discipleship and equipping
0:38.9	African pastors to study and practice and teach God's word accurately. And you guys know that
0:45.6	that is the area of curriculum and discipleship that I've worked in for the last five to 10 years.
0:51.1	And so I'm so excited to invite him on the show to just talk about the work
0:54.6	that he's doing and what God has done in his life. So Richmond, thank you so much for joining us
0:59.1	today. Ritchell, I am so excited to be here. Thank you for having me. Absolutely. So Richman,
1:06.0	I was hoping we could maybe start at the beginning. And for people that don't know much about
1:10.5	pastor's discipleship network or about you or your story, could you maybe just share we could maybe start at the beginning. And for people that don't know much about Pastor Discipleship
1:11.7	Network or about you or your story, could you maybe just share a little bit of your background and
1:16.4	your journey? I know you grew up in Uganda. Could you maybe share a little bit about that with us?
1:21.6	Sure. So I was born in a family of six children. I had a fun father.
1:29.1	I had a mother who never went to school, but she was present.
1:33.5	And she had committed herself and her life to raise us.
1:38.2	And so that was fun for my early years, at least the first eight years of my life,
1:42.5	because I was well-groomed, I was getting
1:46.0	ready for my future until all of that changed. All of that changed when I was eight years old,
1:52.6	and was at this time that my father, the man that represented security, the man that represented provision, he was taken away from us, Rachel.
