I thought it was a good moment to talk about missing people.

Right now I'm flying alone, smoking a cigar, thinking, looking at the sky, and it came

to my mind how you can spend 24 hours with somebody for seven days a week for months.

And the minute they leave, you will miss them.

So I was thinking about the mind and how it placed tricks on us.

Why do we miss somebody that was with us for hours or days or weeks, the instant they

In fact, the more they're with us, the more you miss that person.

I think it has to do with habits.

You don't really miss that person.

You miss yourself in the habit of being with that person.

You miss the routine, the mirror that person reflects upon you.

But if you can manage to be with yourself, present, loving, welcoming every side of you,

even the horrible side that you've denied for years, if you can manage to be there fully

with yourself, then you won't miss anybody.

You'll always be there for you.

And if you manage to be present fully, always completely in love with yourself, accepting

every part of you, then the moment you're with somebody, you'll be so in love, so present

that you will understand when they leave that it's okay, that it's good, that everybody
