Sunday, October 17, 2021, seemed to start out as just another average day for 39-year-old Heidi Plank.

It was early afternoon, another beautiful sunny day in West Los Angeles, when Heidi left her rented townhouse, located in the Palms area of town, a neighborhood on the west

side of Los Angeles near Culver City. We know she did this because Heidi had a surveillance

camera outside her house. The camera captured her pulling out of her driveway and driving away.

Heidi was dressed in jeans and a white t-shirt with a smiley face print on it. She had a gray sweater

wrapped around her waist and was carrying a black purse over her shoulder. You can see her

dog, a Labradoodle whose name is Seven, walking behind her with his leash trailing behind him.

According to Los Angeles Magazine, Seven went pretty much everywhere with Heidi.

You can clearly see Heidi climbing into her Silver Range Rover with a license plate U840XO,

holding a cup of coffee in her keys.

Then she drove away.

She was headed to watch her 10-year-old son, Bond, playing a football game.

By the way, Heidi was a big James Bond fan.

That's why her dog was 7, like 007, and her son's name was Bond.

But that day was not an average day for Heidi Plank.

Because at some point, after the game, Heidi Plank vanished.

She was never seen alive again by her friends and family, and it didn't take long for the rumors to start flying about her ex-husband, her boss, Jason Sugarman, and his links to big

money and powerful people in Los Angeles. This was a real-life detective noir mystery that seemed to be playing out like the movie Chinatown,

complete with allegations of murder, corruption by people in power, and a lot of shady people

and sunny places.

Other than the occasional update, press coverage of Heidi's case has gone radio silent. Until now.
