Summary

Kyron Horman was so excited to head to school on June 4, 2010. He had prepared a project on Tree Frogs for the school science fair. He got dressed in his favorite CSI t-shirt and headed off to school with his stepmother Terri and his sister Kiara.

When the trio arrived at Skyline Elementary, Kyron put his coat and his bag in his classroom. Just a few minutes later, he disappeared.

The search for Kyron was the biggest in Oregon’s history – volunteers from three states travelled to help. The FBI became involved almost straight away. Even with all this manpower, Kyron has never been found – it has been 12 years since he was last seen.

Did an opportunistic predator snatch Kyron from his school? Or does his stepmother Terri know more about what happened to Kyron?

What's up guys? We'll continue our episode of The True Crime Society podcast with Stephanie

0:27.6

and Olivia. It's Wednesday, March 16th at the time of recording. I don't think that'll really

0:33.9

matter because I don't think they'll be an update with this case, but hopefully that would be

0:38.5

amazing if so, so hopefully they're not using it. After, after Sherry, I believe in anything.

0:45.4

Yeah, I know it's crazy. One random thing of note, we are recording on like a different

0:53.2

software today than we usually do because the one that we were, I know no one like cares about

0:58.8

this, but I just feel like I have to explain. The one we normally were recording on is our

1:03.1

getting really glitchy. I mean, it was free, so whatever. So we're trying a new one.

1:08.0

Hopefully it sounds good. If it sounds weird or off, we won't use this one again, but I won't

1:13.7

really know till after I record it. And if you noticed like any of our last few episodes,

1:17.7

I know there's parts where they sounded a little glitchy kind of. Hopefully that won't be happening

1:22.2

anymore, but you know, we're not in a professional, professional studio or anything. I'm literally in

1:27.2

like a closet, so we've got to work with what we got. We're going to get there one day. We'll have a

1:34.0

studio one day. I was just saying to Mike, I was like, when we like move out of this apartment,

1:39.2

I really want a real like desk and a real desktop computer, because I feel like it can be easier

1:45.3

to edit on. I just want a real setup because right now I've got the most depressing setup.

1:49.7

Like I've moved my computer around a whole bunch of times and I'm currently in my bedroom,

1:53.4

but yeah, I'd love to have a proper setup as well. Yeah, especially really editing because

1:57.9

with the, I do it all on a MacBook and I don't have, I know I can buy a mouse for it, but I don't have

2:02.4

a mouse. It's pretty small screen and if I can have like dual screens, like I do at my job,
