Okay, today we're going to be looking at the book of Romans chapter 10 versus one through

four. So get out your Bibles. If you have a morning mindset journal, get out your journal. We will use

those today as we go through the book of Romans. But before we do, I want to pray that our God will help

us as we seek to understand His Word.

Our Father, the Apostle Paul many times can be hard to understand because he talks about so many deep and important things.

So we ask you to give us understanding today of all these vital things so that our faith in Christ

will be strong and will lead us to you. We ask it in Jesus' name. Amen.

All right. Get out your Bible's Romans 10 verses 1 through 4. The Apostle Paul has just pointed out from

the Old Testament, in fact, that not all of the Israeli people, genealogically speaking, are God's people because they have

not combined their zeal for God with faith. And he's continuing to talk about those particular

people of whom he was one. He was a Jewish man himself. And he says, brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God

for them is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God,

but not according to knowledge. For being ignorant of the righteousness of God and seeking to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness.

For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes.

So what is the apostle trying to tell us here?
