In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully

inspire you in your faith walk, that deepen your understanding of God's word and that heightens your

awareness of his very real presence in your life. Well, Scripture calls us to continually think about,

to meditate on, to share the wonders of God's involvement in our lives. Do you do that? I don't know. I think we

could all use to do it a little bit more. Don't you think to give some mind space, some air time

to the wonders of God, things you've seen in scripture that have left you in awe, you know,

parts of your story that you smile when you think about it because God came through.

He's a miracle working God.

And the reason these things are so important is they're a charge from Scripture, they keep us with a present time faith, an expected posture.

And this is why my friend Carolyn Haas joins me every month for what we're calling miracle stories then and now.

Each month we'll draw from

scripture. I love how we do this. We've gotten into a groove where she spends her time with the Lord. I spend my time. And we don't necessarily tell each other where we're going. We just kind of come to the table. I'll get her notes a few minutes before. Usually I'll take a look at it so I have a sense of where we're going. But I'm always amazed at how there's just this theme that wraps itself up and the way God's

speaking to her and the way he's speaking to us to me.

So we come together, we'll each share stories from Scripture, and then we'll share some

modern-day miracle stories.
