In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully

inspire you in your faith walk, that deepen your

understanding of God's word and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your

life. Well, scripture calls us to continually remember, consider, meditate on, and share the

wonders of God's involvement in our lives. You know why? It's because he's a miracle work in God,

and we are perpetual forgetters. I often say, if you're in between miracles, just borrow one,

borrow one from Scripture, borrow one from your backstory, borrowing from a friend. But rehearse and

remember and talk about the miracles. That's what it says in Psalm 145. In fact, it says, give specific

examples of his power. Did you know that? Scripture charges us to

perpetually give specific examples of God's power because it encourages us. We're not meant to do

this alone in isolation. And the kingdom of God, scripture says, is not a matter of talk,

but of power. So if we have a powerless Christianity, that should be a

warning sign. We ought to figure out why that is, because the kingdom of God is in our midst,

and the spirit of God is alive in us. All of that to say, this is why I get my friend Carolyn
