I'm always so honored to get to spend this time with you.

In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully inspire you in your faith walk, the deep in your understanding of God's Word, and that heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life. Well, we're talking about the unseen battle. We're talking about spiritual warfare today, and as I prep for the show, I was reminded of a mission trip I took many years ago, and it was an all-female team, and I'm just telling you, I'm never going to do that again. I'm going to always make sure there are gentlemen with us, but we went to Central America, and it was the leader of the trip had been to this particular village many times before, so she really felt okay, and I don't fault her at all for that, but word kind of got out that we were, we are all staying just us us and there were no men with us and there were

a few different scenarios where that were really icky and scary and there was one particular

day a number of us were walking to the local church and we walked down this little village

street where you know normally moms are out know, hanging up their clothes and kids

are playing. And none of the moms were out, none of the kids were out. And there was just,

the drums were beating really loud. And there was just a couple clusters of men who were

smoking something. And there was just a darkness darkness i can't even and dogs were barking

and one thing she said is uh the dogs always respond to the demonic activity in the village so

when they're going crazy there's there are things going on right so the dogs were just barking and

they were barking at us and these men were looking at us through slitted eyes and we're walking

we got our little skirts on and our little you you know, T-shirt were walking to the church. And it just felt like darkness closed in on us. And they were talking in a language we didn't understand and they started to move towards us and the dog started moving towards us. And I was terrified, just to being honest. And the friend of mine, who was the leader of the group, just grabbed my hand and held my hand. There was just a handful of us. And I just started to sing, open our eyes, Lord. We want to see Jesus to reach out and touch you and say that we love you. You know, open our ears, Lord, and help us to listen. It's just a beautiful old worship song. And she started to sing with me,

and she harmonized. And I can't even tell you, we just suddenly were enveloped in peace. It felt like we

were surrounded by a force field. The dogs just backed up and they kind of toned down their

bark. And the men just started to back up as well. It was just like God's,
