Wouldn't return your phone calls, wouldn't answer questions, wouldn't give written answers.

I mean, you call her certainly a hypocrite and she could be a liar as well. I mean,

this is very serious, isn't it? Yeah, I mean, I think this is really serious for Angela Rainer. There's

two things obviously at play now. One,

did she act properly? So as you just went through, she said she got bad legal advice, bad tax

advice. Now she's got new advice. Turns out she did underpay her tax. She's referred herself on,

etc., etc. But the crucial thing there really is,

did she give the full details of that property trust

to that advisor?

Without those full details, no tax or legal advisor

could give you full advice, proper advice.

So that main question is, does her defense hold up in the kind of court of the investigation, as it were?

And the second problem for Angela Raina, which is equally a very big problem, is the way this is perceived.

Yeah.

That she feels it seems that she's hypocritical.

Look, Angela Rainer is in many ways a brilliant politician politician and she has climbed to the very top of politics.

She's the deputy prime minister. But she did that by really attacking Tory slees when she was in

opposition. You can comb through her speeches. She frequently accused the Conservative Party

of corruption. She called for Nadine Zahari to be

sacked or quit when he was found to have underpaid his taxes. I would say that that was another

...
