week with something quick and actionable that you can implement right away. It'll make you more

magnetic. It'll make you more effective. Hopefully a little bit happier, especially today.

Today, I wanted to talk about a little bit about gratitude. I hate, I mean, gratitude practice is

kind of, it's overused. It's almost like this cliché buzz word. And I get that. And it took me a

long time to even come around to it because it did seem super woo-woo and foofy. And we've talked

before many times on the show about keeping a journal in the morning writing about gratitude or

doing it at night or whatever. But one of the reasons that most of us don't express gratitude,

especially to others enough is because it's not a habit and it's not scheduled into our day.

So this week try this and this has been a game changer for me in a really fun, simple, easy way.

The minute you are thankful for someone or something someone did for you,

text them, email them, send them a Facebook message, whatever immediately. And don't wait. Do it

as soon as you can. And this goes double for family, parents, things like that. People you never

express gratitude towards it. I'll give you a classic example. Today I was taking a shower and

I saw this weird bar of, it's a bar of shampoo. Jason, I don't know if you've ever seen this before,

but it's like this natural made bar of shampoo, which I didn't know existed. And I tried it and

it smelled good and I told Jen, hey, where'd we get this thing? And she said, oh, Glenn,

her brother gave it to us. And I thought, oh, that was cool. And then I thought, you know,

I should just say thanks for that. He might, may or may not care, but I probably never say thanks

to Glenn for anything except when he picks us up from the airport. And this is really important

because people do a lot of little things for you probably all day, every day. And you just take

it for granted, which is normal because so what if your secretary left a bottle of hand lotion
