So today, I am reading a letter I got from someone.

This is another Instagram DM and it's kind of in pieces so bear with me if I have to

pause for a moment to go to the next slide, but I found it really interesting, fascinating.

Let's get into it.

Okay, so total fan of your podcast.

I have to be honest, I am fascinated by others' beliefs, but especially Mormonism.

You see, I was in the crafting community for a long time, and like 90% of the

companies that own scrapbook supplies are in Utah. I was on message boards and made a lot of

Mormon friends. I picked up a lot about the religion because of my online friends talking about

having a calling or talking about their ward or stake, but I always thought it was about a steak, like S-T-E-A-K, the food.

L-O-O.

I wouldn't always ask because honestly I didn't want to get dragged into conversing on why their religion is best, etc.

So instead, I googled and fell

through the rabbit hole of Mormonism. Like, I would see these videos and learn about them and think,

no way, they do that? It was still fascinating to me. Although, I always felt like a hoe around

them because you might see my cleavage,

have a coffee, or gasp, have a beer. But I always just thought, oh, well, at least I get to have my

caramel macchiato. Okay, so she says, anyhow, I became close with a particular girl. Her husband is a meteorologist on the news in Utah. I swear she was the sweetest thing. I met her a few times, but mostly talked online, designing for some companies together. Well, we were Google chatting one day, and I asked her if she watched
